The Play of Shadows II

Concerning the new series of photographs, please bear in mind the differences are subtle. I enjoy the seeming undulation, or sense of movement in the shots. Today is my parent's wedding anniversary, it is still difficult to believe that as of next month it will be four years since Dad's death. His birthday is the 26th of this month (Monday), each year Karen and Scott go out for pie to celebrate and to remember. Dad loved dessert, he introduced me to the decadent pleasure of pie for breakfast (only Mom's homemade pie would do). Last year on his birthday I went for a long walk and happened upon a beautiful turtle who was out soaking up the sun. I sat there in the grass as close as I dared so as not to frighten the turtle and just marvelled at its beauty. Thoughts turned to Dad and I enjoyed the memories that randomly came to mind. I loved my Dad (always will) and miss him everyday, some more than others.
