Here is an interesting stat, on average there are usually about 11 days of temperatures at or above 100°F/39°C each summer in the Austin area. Well, we have already had 35 days of triple digit weather this summer alone and we still have August to go. Put simply, it has been one hot summer.
I just finished an interesting read, The 100-Mile Diet (Cdn title) / Plenty (US title), by Alisa Smith and J.B. MacKinnon. Did you realise that there is an apiary on the rooftop of the Paris Opera House and Chicago has hives on the top of City Hall (pg.75)? So neat!
Please enjoy the following collection of my Magnolia shots.
Enjoy the journey!
It is books, poems and paintings which often give us the confidence to take seriously feelings in ourselves that we might otherwise never have thought to acknowledge.
