Although incredibly warm, we visited the Zilker Botanical Gardens, here in Austin. So many beautiful water lilies in bloom and I couldn't get over the size of the koi swimming about in the ponds. Hope the weekend was grand.

• Saturday evening, enjoyed a wonderful celebratory dinner with the love of my life
• visited Boggy Creek Farm for fresh local produce (arugula, kale, cucumbers, the first tomatoes...)
• an early morning walk on Sunday, happening upon four deer, two herons, a turtle and a cardinal
• watched the men's French Open final Sunday morning
• enjoyed a matinee performance of the animated film Up

Fourteen wonderful years together (6 June), and as expected our relationship has grown and developed over the years. I love him more each and everyday. This journey has been grand and we can't wait to see what the future has in store. Happy weekend to each of you!

Proper Size This Time

Dress for Easson - Austin, TX - May 2009

With the proper measurements this time around I was able to make up two new dresses for Easson, but didn't take a photo of the second dress for some reason. I am hoping Kim will send along a few photographs of the wee girl wearing them. In the image above the dress needs a bit of pressing, but that aside, it is such a cute fabric and I am just thrilled that both Easson and Kim like it. Wishing each of you a wonderful start to June, this month and next are full celebrations. Early congratulations to all the graduates out there, Emily has finished her undergraduate degree (12 June), Alexa (10 June) heads off to high school in the fall, and Emma (24 June) moves into junior high come September. Enjoy the journey!
