This business trip has been gruelling but there was a bit of time over the weekend to do some sightseeing. Several of his colleagues took him out for tours of the city, something he truly appreciated and really enjoyed.

Update

Thanks so much for all the well wishes. Scott is slowly adjusting to a reverse wake/sleep cycle and truly enjoying meeting his India based colleagues. He is working long hours and accomplishing a great deal. In case you were wondering, it was overcast in Hyderabad and so Scott wasn't able to view the solar eclipse. That's all for now. Safe and Exhausted

Just a quick note to let everyone know Scott arrived safely in Hyderabad, India. It was quite a trip getting there but he made it. I wanted to share one of his first impressions of India:
The ride to the hotel was amazing. You saw everything. From temples, to Roman looking dams, to buffalo, to cranes erecting buildings or a new 8 lane high-way being built, to shanties and great poverty. The diversity is almost indescribable.

Inspiration

I wanted to thank each of you for all the comments and continued support. Words seem to be elusive these days, there are plenty of thoughts swirling around in my mind, lists of things I need to accomplish, doodles in my sketch book and project journal. Lately I feel immobilized by all the things that I need to attend to. Skirting the things that need my attention, I find other things to do. Often I troll the web for inspiration and it delivers, more often than not. I thought I would share a bit of the loveliness I have come across.

What fills you with awe?

A friend's gifted works in the medium of pen and ink.
