They love it!

Little bits quilt for Emily and Greg - Austin, Texas - August 2009

The newly weds loved our gift. Scott chose the pattern and the colour scheme, then I went to work putting it together. We used a chocolate brown cotton for the front and binding, a marine blue for the backing and six different printed fabrics in various shades of blue to create the little bits panel for the quilt front. It is the largest quilt I have tackled and I learned a great deal from the experience. I am quite pleased with how it turned out and so happy it has been well received. The pattern is referred to as Little Bits Quilt, found in the book, Last-Minute Patchwork & Quilted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson.
We hope the weekend was a relaxing one.
Enjoy the journey.

It is truly an amazing quilt. To be honest, I've never had a quilt before and this one I will forever cherish!
