A New Year

2010 has been a full year, so many experiences, changes, adventures, loss and beauty. There is much to look forward to in the coming year. Thank you for sharing this space with us. Enjoy the festivities, whatever they may be and remember to open your eyes to the wonder, take the time to really listen and say what you mean.
Enjoy the journey.

Twas the Night Before Christmas - Clement C. Moore

It is unfortunate that we can not always be together over the holidays -- but we wanted all of you to know that we love you lots and that we hope you have a fantastic holiday and Christmas.
Best Wishes from us.

Reminiscence

Nearing sunset 1a - Austin, Texas - 9 February 2010

The first post made to the blog was while we were in Bratislava, Slovakia, four years ago. It was a means of keeping in touch while we were away. The exact date of the post was 11 December 2006. I associate this space with the time spent abroad and Austria and Slovakia are amazing places to enjoy the Christmas holidays. This time of year always brings out my sentimental side, I enjoy the Christmas music and seem in a perpetual state of cheer. We have decorated our little metal tree, the mantel is quite festive looking and the stockings have been hung with care. Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonder filled season of love, peace and health. Enjoy the journey.
