Roses in the back yard - Georgetown, TX - 30 March 2011
We moved in to the house here in Georgetown, Texas. It has been an interesting year, to say the least. Here's to another amazing year, but a tad less eventful, pretty please (not tempting fate, not tempting fate, not tempting fate). Enjoy the journey.

One of my dearest friends just welcomed another babe into the world. I can hardly wait to meet this little wonder. Enjoy the journey.

Bees and blooms - March 2010
An overwhelming natural disaster and words seem insufficient.
Our thoughts remain with all those in Japan.

Just The Beginning
Hand knit blanket for Amy - February 2011
Had a wonderful visit with Karen and Mom, too short of course. It was great of them to make it down to visit with us, we had fun showing them the house and area.
I am slowly working on a blanket for a dear friend who is expecting a wee one any time now. I love the colours of this yarn and I find this knitting pattern quite meditative.
Spring is in the air, at least here in the South. Trees are blooming, leafing out and most things have started to show new growth. Very exciting stuff.
Enjoy the journey.

Hello March!

Patchwork quilt front and two fabric quilt back - February 2011
Finished another quilt (nearly - have to finish hand stitching three sides of the binding), a commissioned piece for my sister. It turned out rather well, if I do say so myself. Where did February disappear to, crazy that!?! This past week marked our one year anniversary closing on the house, amazing to think we have been here for an entire year already! Here's to another one, but with a little less excitement!!! Our visitors arrive tomorrow, we are so looking forward to spending some time with Karen and Mom.
Enjoy the journey.
