Hand knit blanket for Amy - February 2011
Had a wonderful visit with Karen and Mom, too short of course. It was great of them to make it down to visit with us, we had fun showing them the house and area.
I am slowly working on a blanket for a dear friend who is expecting a wee one any time now. I love the colours of this yarn and I find this knitting pattern quite meditative.
Spring is in the air, at least here in the South. Trees are blooming, leafing out and most things have started to show new growth. Very exciting stuff.
Enjoy the journey.

I like that yarn a lot too. Looks so soft.
looks very soft and so perfectly made ... looking forward to seeing it when it is completed!
so happy that you enjoyed your time with mum and sister ... have a relaxing weekend! love .p
Melanie: What size needles and wool do you use for this and how many stitches do you work up to before the decrease? I need a project.
Love to you both
