A Recent Project
Just finished a commissioned project yesterday (image below). I made up two bags using the monk's bag pattern from The Purl Bee. It was a fun pattern to work through and the finished pieces turned out rather well. This is another version of the same pattern.
I am rather enjoying the following books, The Emperor Of All Maladies - A biography of cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee, as well as, Tender - A cook and his vegetable patch by Nigel Slater. What are you reading these days? Enjoy the journey.

Thought I would share front and back images of a new tote bag I put together yesterday, I kind of like how it turned out. Had our first scorpion in the house last night, kind of unnerving, thankfully Scott wasn't stung. Wishing each of you a wonder filled weekend. Don't forget to enjoy the journey.

I am continually reminded of the beauty that surrounds us, our back yard offers up so many wonders. My heart is smiling, cards and a wonderful surprise in the mailbox from loved ones sending birthday wishes. Slightly delayed due to an untimely mail strike in Canada.
