Well, January certainly seemed to fly by. There were cold days and nights, along with beautiful sun filled mornings and afternoons. A lovely gift bloomed beautifully mid month, providing a much needed burst of colour. I have been enjoying wonderful blog posts by a dear friend of her travels in warmer climes. Paula of otchipotchi has released several gorgeous new ceramic pieces, well done and congratulations on the new work!

Happy February! My new quasi-retirement mode began this past weekend, and I've decided my first act will be 28 days of birding. February usually gets short shrift because it is day-length challenged, but it is a very nice 4-week period in which to accomplish just about anything. And it began on a Sunday, which means a month never fit so well on my google calendar! In addition to birding, more blog posts to let the sun shine in. ;)
