Still Blooming
Two of the rose bushes are still blooming, even with the hot temperatures and drought conditions. We had the house painted this past week, will share photos soon.

Back Yard Garden Bed
This image is a more accurate view of one of the garden beds in the back yard. It is a jumble of flowers and vegetables, not sure about thinning, just wanting something to grow here. Will till everything into the soil later in the year. We simply broad cast seeded, no rows or real organization. We like it.

Roses in the back yard - Georgetown, TX - 30 March 2011
We moved in to the house here in Georgetown, Texas. It has been an interesting year, to say the least. Here's to another amazing year, but a tad less eventful, pretty please (not tempting fate, not tempting fate, not tempting fate). Enjoy the journey.

Bees and blooms - March 2010
An overwhelming natural disaster and words seem insufficient.
Our thoughts remain with all those in Japan.

Feels And Looks Like Spring
New growth - 25 February 2011
In the above image, we are hoping the wildflower seeds planted in the fall are starting to grow. I saw the first of the Red Buds starting to bloom, there are daffodils blooming in the neighbour's yards (must remember to plant bulbs in the fall), and the rose bushes all have new leaf growth on them. So much to look forward to at the moment. Also, we have family visiting next week, can't wait for Mom and Karen to arrive!!! Happy weekend to each of you!
Enjoy the journey.
