Late last week, I had a terrific visit with one of my favourite Americans. Erin and I met in grad school and have managed to keep in touch since graduation by way of a few face to face visits and a bit of old fashioned (and much loved) correspondence. Erin is such a wonderfully intelligent, spirited, beautiful individual and I so appreciate that she and I have been able to develop the friendship we share. Thanks Erin for making the trek down here to Austin!
We have a visitor staying with at the moment; she is a black and white Beagle and goes by the name Bailey. We are dog sitting for a friend while he is overseas on business. Bailey will be with us for about ten days, and things seem to be going well so far (knock on wood). Speaking of house guests, in two weeks time we have family coming to visit, which we are eagerly anticipating. It is always so nice to spend time with loved ones. Summer is almost officially upon us. This weekend heralds the arrival of Summer, although here in Austin we have been experiencing late summer weather for the past several weeks already.Wishing each of you much wonder and peace, till next time...
