Update

Greetings!
Just wanted to allay any fears, we are safe from fires here in Georgetown, Texas.  There are wildfires south east and south west of us, but nothing threatening us immediately.  It has been a challenging time for the state this summer and these fires have and are disastrous on so many different levels.  The following is a link to the Texas Forestry Service that shows the active fires on a state map, fire activity .  Thank you for the concern so many of you have shown for our  well being and know that we appreciate all the love and good thoughts each of you are sending our way.  We will keep you informed.

Journey Golf Course - Temecula, California - 27 August 2011

What a beautiful part of the country and this is where I played my first round of golf.  I have so much to learn and many years of practice ahead of me, it was terrific learning experience. Scott is such a great teacher and so patient, offering encouragement and limited advise when needed.  I took a few lessons last month before we left on holiday and am hoping to continue learning and improving over the years to come.  I now have a greater respect and appreciation for this complex, infuriating, and amazing game.  The golf course was picturesque, the vistas on some of the holes were gorgeous. It is an experience I will treasure.  Enjoy the journey.
