Swiss Chard

Cool season crop - October 2013

Planted a few cool season plants, swiss chard, cauliflower, collard greens and kohlrabi. Shall see how they fare. We cut back the tomato plants in September and a couple of the plants are fruiting again. It wasn't a very good summer season in the raised beds, I didn't water enough which was the biggest factor.
Will make an attempt to post more regularly, sorry about the absence.

Hello Autumn!!!

Startled - Canada - November 2007

We have had some rain, cooler temperatures and the most beautiful moon in the night skies these past few days. It is certainly beginning to feel a bit like Autumn is on its way. Warmer temperatures will return later in the week but this glimpse has been just what we needed.
